This picture depicts both Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster (SRB)
retrieval ships shortly after a Shuttle launch in 1985. The "Liberty Star" is shown in the foreground hoisting
the frustrum of an SRB from the water. A "Liberty" dive team, the "Freedom Star", and two SRB's are shown
in the background. The artist can be seen in this picture standing on the second deck of the "Liberty Star",
looking aft. A full-sized reproduction of this painting is on display at the Challenger Learning Center in Tallahassee,
Florida.
